Mambo get McNaughty for another summer!

"Last season Mambo's womenswear department found their ultimate Mambo Goddess in former Miss Australia Erin McNaught, whose cheeky, good time gal image makes her perfect in Kingsmill's eyes. So perfect in fact that they've signed the "healthy Aussie woman with a bit of ‘tude" again to rep the brand this Summer. "It’s looking like it’ll be a big year," McNaught comments, adding with a laugh that she's been "trying to gear up" a bit of travel with the brand to follow their international expansion.
"I grew up in Queensland and spent half my life at the beach, and now I live in Bondi and I'm down there every day," McNaught tells me over the phone. "Mambo is a brand that’s synonymous with Australian beach culture, and that’s me as well." The model confesses that her style "never really changes". "I don't put much thought into it, you know… just really cute cut off denim shorts, cropped teeshirts - Mambo are doing great ones - that are really cool this season, or a floaty summer dress… That’s why Mambo are so good: they make really cute little basics."

"On Wednesday 27th October we ventured out to the Yagoona Shelter to put my idea into action: My main reason for doing this video, is to show people that you don't just have to have the pressure of adopting, that is not the only way you can help, you can foster, donate or lend a helping hand by walking the animals. Alot of people tend to turn a blind eye to the shelter, as it's easy to get upset at the amount of animals needing homes, but by making this video and showing the all the different breads of animals and amazing job that the RSPCA does to look after and cater for these animal, will hopefully bring awareness for people to be involved or at least think of adopting rather then buying from farmed pet stores and puppy mills.
With a project like this you always need help and I was thrilled with the amazing Australian celebrites that jumped on board to help share this message."

MTV and Austereo launch simulcast Hot30 music show
The MTV Hits Weekly Hot30 Countdown kicks off on December 5 and will run on Sundays from 6-8.30pm across the Today Network and on the new MTV Hits channel. It will also be available online and on mobile.
The co-production will be filmed at Austereo’s Hot 30 studio in Sydney.
Rebecca Batties, GM of music brands at MTV Networks Australia said: “The Today Network and MTV Hits are two brands that are perfectly suited for each other. Their massive radio audience gives us a tremendous opportunity to introduce MTV Hits to a nation of pop music-loving fans, and co-developing the MTV Hits Weekly Hot30 Countdown as a radio, TV and online property is a perfect fit for our newest, locally produced channel.”
Guy Dobson, Austereo’s CEO said: “We’re very excited about this new partnership – we hope it’s the first of many.”
